Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) in The Shining (1980) strikes the same pose at the Overlook’s July 4th ball, manifesting in Ends with Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) as a disturbed writer.
Starting with Halloween Kills (2021) and continuing into Halloween Ends (2022), the filmmakers embed the Tarot’s Major and Minor Arcana into the two movies like no other, analyzed in Cinema Symbolism 4 – coming soon.
