“The Tarot figures, in various guises, are ever present in our lives. By night they appear in our sleep, to our mystification and wonder. By day they inspire us to creative action or play tricks with our logical plans.” – Sallie Nichols, *Jung and Tarot: An Archetypal Journey*, 1980. Two Tarot cards that came to life on 9/11. (Insert Top Left) The lightning-struck Tower, card XVI from the Rider-Waite deck, is the Twin Towers destroyed. Its background is black, linking it to the Devil card (see Introduction), which has the same dark setting. Alchemically, the Devil represents the *nigredo* phase, the psychological dark night of the soul, the blackening and decay stage of the Great Work, in which material reality needs to be purified to make way for something fresh, in this case, the new yet bleak Æon of Horus. The falling person to the left of the Tower is shaped like the Hebrew letter *ayin* ע, and the figure on the right forms *zayin* ז, producing 77, OZ, the Goat of Mendes, synonymous with the Devil card. The Tower betokens transformation, the shattering of illusions, and abrupt, discomforting, and unsettling change, indicating the shift from Pisces to Aquarius. (Insert Bottom right) The Hanged Man, signifying the mystery of death (of the old age) and the riddle of resurrection (of the new), also denotes the Tower’s transmogrification, death, and rebirth. The twelfth trump becomes *The Falling Man*, plummeting to his death, having jumped from the WTC’s North Tower. Like the Tower card, alchemy has been a critical influence on the interpretation (one of many) of the Hanged Man. Lévi described him as “the great and unique athanor, which all can use, which is ready to each man’s hand, which all possess without knowing it.” The athanor is an alchemist’s furnace; the first stage of making the Philosopher’s Stone culminated in the *nigredo* phase when the material in the alchemist’s vessel was destroyed by heating it and driving off vapor, which was regarded as its spirit or spark of life. Then, the haze was allowed to condense and saturate the dead material, resurrecting it in a new and improved form; on 9/11, death and destruction signaled the end of Pisces, Christ the fisherman, the sun reborn in Aquarius as Baphomet, the Saturnian Bleating Goat.

7, 77, and 777 on 9/11

These numbers blanket 9/11/01 and designate Baphomet, the godhead of the Æon of Horus/Age of Aquarius we are well into. In his qabalsitic grimoire 777 (1909), Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) explains that seven is a most evil number, the Goat of Mendes’ diabolical numeral is 77, and 777 is 77 on steroids, thus exceedingly Mephistophelian. September 11th, 2001, invokes and announces the new androgynous god, signifying the end of the Age of Pisces. The numbers are at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and Lower Manhattan, but are ever-present at the Pentagon; the building’s construction began on September 11th, 1941, 60 years earlier to the day of the attack, completed on January 15th, 1943, a date having a value of 77 using reverse Pythagorean reduction (J/8 a/8 n/4 u/6 a/8 r/9 y/2 = 45, 15 = 15, 1 + 9 + 4 + 7 = 17; 45 + 15 + 17 = 77). Jinxing the date of September 11th is Disney’s Rainbow Road to Oz (Baphomet and the Dark Mother), debuting on T.V. September 11th, 1957, 16 years (1 + 6 = 7) after the Pentagon’s construction began, 44 years before 9/11/01; according to Master Therion, 44 is the number of Horus who accepts blood sacrifices as worship. On that morning, at Dulles International Airport, which sits on the 77th Meridian West, the passengers boarded Flight 77 from gate D26, which has a reverse ordinal value of 49 or 7² (D/23 + 26 = 49). Dulles’ code, IAD, has an ordinal value of 14 or 7 doubled, 77 (I/9 A/1 D/4 = 14), and the 1977 movie Airport ’77 features a night-time view of Dulles’ terminal with a Boeing 747 taking off in the foreground. Departing at 8:20 a.m., Flight 77 crashed 77 minutes later into the 77-foot tall seven-story Pentagon at 9:37 a.m., 577 minutes into the day, the Department of Defense is also on the 77th Meridian West. Flight 77’s in-flight movie was Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001) which has a Pythagorean reduced sum of 49, or 7² (D/4 r/9. = 13, D/4 o/6 l/3 i/9 t/2 t/2 l/3 e/5 = 34, 2 = 2; 13 + 34 + 2 = 49). Swiftly taking off from Joint Base Andrews seven minutes after the Pentagon was hit was Venus 77, a NEACP flight that coordinates with the National Military Command Center; the planet Venus has a pentagonal orbit, syncing with the Defense Department, and in antiquity, Venus was symbolized by a seven-pointed star, for 777. The Pentagon covers 28.7 acres, 28 = 7 x 4 for 7777.7, and is 1,414 feet wide, 7 + 7, 7 + 7, or 7777. The entire complex covers site a total of 583 acres, 5 + 8 + 3 = 16, 1 + 6 = 7, has 7,754 windows, 70 elevators, 284 restrooms, 2 + 8 + 4 = 14, 7 doubled or 77, and has 691 water fountains, 6 + 9 + 1 = 16, 1 + 6 = 7. Its address is 1400 Defense Blvd, 700 + 700, and the Pentagon’s 9/11 memorial was dedicated on September 11th, 2008, seven years later. From Cinema Symbolism 4. (Left) Having three interlocking concentric pentagons, the Pentagon is thus 555, the world’s second-largest office building; yet, its spoke-and-ring design allows one to walk between the furthest two points in the building in seven minutes. Shadowing the Pentagon from across the Potomac is the 555-foot-tall Washington Monument, which is 6660 inches because 666 is the sun’s mystical number, the obelisk sacred to the resurrected Egyptian sun god Osiris.(Right) In the middle of the Pentagon’s 5-acre central plaza is a sculptured owl (atop a dining facility) to scare away birds, or at least that’s the vulgar explanation. To those initiated and familiar with Egyptian hieroglyphs, the owl symbolizes death, syncing with the Pentagon’s *raison d’être*. The owl also indicates the dead sun, the live-giving orb after setting beneath the horizon, forging a link to the Osirian Washington Monument.

Michael Joseph Jackson, the seventh of nine children, was hit with the Baphometic curse early on: his first, middle, and last names each have seven letters, and his full name has a reverse ordinal value of 343, or 7³ (M/14 i/18 c/24 h/19 a/26 e/22 l/15 = 138, J/17 o/12 s/8 e/22 p/11 h/19 = 89, J/17 a/26 c/24 k/16 s/8 o/12 n/13 = 116; 138 + 89 + 116 = 343). Born on August 29th, 1958 (19 + 58 = 77), nearly 19 years to the date of The Wizard of Oz’s theatrical release on August 25th, 1939, Jackson inadvertently summoned Miss 42, the Dark Mother, when he played the Scarecrow in 1978’s The Wiz because Scarecrow has a sum of 42 using Pythagorean reduction: S/1 c/3 a/1 r/9 e/5 c/3 r/9 o/6 w/5 = 42. To make matters worse, his most famous album, Thriller (1982), has a runtime of a little over 42 minutes. In the early 1990s, Jackson sought a psychic, knowing he was hit was a curse, but received terrible information as the soothsayer applied the Biblical-Islamic interpretation of seven as a holy number, not realizing it was a jinxed numeral in Master Therion’s Æon of Horus/Age of Aquarius. As such, Jackson thought the number seven was a protective talisman and used it for the remainder of his life, not knowing it was a death curse, and it turns up in ways Jackson could not have anticipated, signifying the hex. The King of Pop taped three of his fingertips, keeping seven free, signed his will on 7/7/02, and his funeral was held seven years later on 7/7/09 (the Goat of Mendes and the Dark Mother strike). He was found not guilty in his 2005 (2 + 0 + 0 + 5 = 7) child molestation trial on the seventh day of jury deliberations. He died on June 25th (2 + 5 = 7), 2009, and his two longest-serving number-one hits were “Black or White” (1991) and “Billie Jean” (1982), both at the top of the charts for seven weeks (USA). Hermes is the spirit of alchemy because he is a deity of complete being, revealing what many forget in their inhabitation of a half-world: chaos and ocean are the secret grounds of cosmos and city. Actress Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) was paired with Fred Astaire (1899-1987)–who was always searching for the goddess Terpsichore–in the musical romantic comedy Funny Face (1957). Hepburn, who plays Jo Stockton, is both sprite and diva, bashful bookseller and supermodel; in thirty-six seconds of film (Master Therion’s qabalistic number for Mercurius), she performs alchemy, forever turning from mere mortal into everyone’s ideal goddess when she descends the marble staircase in the Louvre, swathed in a red Givenchy gown, signifying the spagyric art’s rubedo, with her crimson scarf flying around the pagan statue The Winged Victory of Samothrace, which in alchemical cinema, transmogrifies her into Nike herself. When you have a birthday, December 13th, 1989, that has a value of 77 in base gematria using Pythagorean reduction (D/4 e/5 c/3 e/5 m/4 b/2 e/ r/9 = 37, 13 = 13, 1 + 9 + 8 + 9 = 27; 37 + 13 + 27 = 77), it’s not a good idea to release a song called “Karma” (2022) featuring yourself in its music video costumed as the Saturnian bleating Goat, OZ, the leaping godhead of the Age of Horus, only to appear in the very next fucking scene in the Magickal Land of 77, wearing the Ruby Slippers, walking on the Yellow Brick Road. Talk about bad karma.
