In On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), Blofeld (Telly Savalas, 1922-1994) shares Master Therion’s penchant for legitimizing phony ancestries and coats of arms. In this scene, Blofeld masquerades as Balthazar, Count de Bleuchamp. Blofeld’s deception also conjures Crowley’s belief that he was a magical charlatan.
