Although the book is still well over a year and a half away (it will not be released until after I have seen Joker: Folie à Deux, coming October 2024), I will post its revised Preface here next week on August 1st. I have shifted some material from Chapter I and the Introduction to the Preface as it has become clear this information needs to be introduced immediately in the book.
