I have not updated in a bit (extremely busy), but I am targeting the date of September 11, 2025 as the release date for the print edition of Cinema Symbolism 4: Death, Destruction, Terror, Murder, and Mayhem. I have also begun working on Cinema Symbolism OZ, which will preview Rob’s Forbidden Tarot. The Kenny Chesney song “The Tin Man,” which conjures The Wizard of Oz (1939) in its lyrics, was originally released on April 19th, 1994, on Capricorn Records, suggesting the Goat of Mendes, the leaping goat, the godhead, a year after the Branch Davidian Compound burned to the ground (4/19/93) and a year before the OKC Murrah Building terrorist attack (4/19/95), was re-released on his Greatest Hits album on September 26th, 2000. Forty-two weeks later, on July 23rd, 2001, “The Tin Man” was re-released as a single; its music video was scheduled to be filmed seven weeks later, on September 11th, 2001, in front of the World Trade Center but was canceled a few days beforehand because BNA Records (the new label) did not believe a video was necessary. “The Tin Man,” both the Ozian character and the tune’s name, has a sum of 49 = 72 using reverse Pythagorean reduction.[1] Cinema Symbolism 4, Cinema Symbolism OZ, and Cinema Symbolism Third Edition are coming along splendidly.

Shades of Suspira (1977, 2018), Black Swan (2010), Dirty Dancing (1987), The Shining (1980), and, of course, The Wizard of Oz (1939) manifest in the trailer; for example, Terry Gionoffrio’s (Julia Garner) light blue socks and red shoes (seen when the demon emerges) give her away, making her Dorothy Gale’s counterpart – a stranger in a strange land. Can’t wait to see this one. Easter egg: The Pale Crook is a knockoff of The Black Crook (1866), the first produced Broadway play that features a dark sorcerer as one of the antagonists. Naturally, Apartment 7A is scheduled to be released on September 27th, 2024, generating a Baphometic nexus, linking Crook to Thomas Matthew Crooks (2003-2024), who attempted to assassinate President Trump 77 days earlier on July 13th. Another Easter egg: Dracula (1931) is playing in the next theater over, written by Bram Stoker (1847-1912), who the Bramford is named after.

Rob is most pleased to announce that the revised edition of A Pact with the Devil was released on February 14th, 2023. However, the interior text underwent a few more edits in March, fixing some errata and closing a couple plot holes. Rob is pleased to announce that in the next two weeks or so, Rob will be releasing the revised edition of A Pact with the Devil (the way Rob originally intended it). The copies currently available are being removed from distribution to be replaced with this version. At any rate, here is the new cover (oil on canvas by yours truly) and all graphic design work done by Rob as well. Check it out! My latest book, Cinema Symbolism 3, is now available via online retailers. The print edition was released on March 30, 2021, and after a few tweaks here and there, can now be purchased.
